A rare 1950s glass and brass lamp designed by Dorothy Thorpe. Brass frame has three slender supports surrounding a lighted glass terrarium cylinder. Top milk glass lamp shade and clear terrarium glass has no cracks, stains or chips.
Dorothy Thorpe was an American artist operating from her studio in Los
Angeles. She is best known for her glass designs, which she created
primarily during the period spanning from the early 1930’s until the
